Prefixes that indicate "when," "where," or "more": pre-, post-, ante-, inter-, infra-, traps-, sub-, circum-, ultra­

trans- across transcontinental,  transparent,  transaction
sub- under submarine,  submerge,  subjugate
circum- around circumnavigate,  circumference
ultra- beyond, on the far side of, excessive ultrasonic,  ultraviolet,  ultraconservative

Prologue -An introduction or preface, especially a poem recited to introduce a play.
antecedent - One that precedes another.
antechamber - A smaller room serving as an entryway into a larger room.
intramural -  Situated or done within the walls of a building: "both intramural and churchyard graves".
intravenous Existing within, or administered into, a vein or veins
subjugate - Bring under domination or control, esp. by conquest.
